Announcement
30 September 2016
To all BAC grantees, applicants, friends and partners:
Following the closure of ArtAngle, the European Cultural Foundation (ECF) has assumed the implementation and the direct management of the Balkan Arts and Culture Fund (BAC), jointly funded by ECF and Swiss Development Agency (SDC).
Given a reduction in resources available to the BAC, in the near future BAC is only in a position to support the Collaboration projects that were contracted before the closure of ArtAngle. There will be no future calls for the BAC. Unfortunately, the announced calls for applications, which have been temporarily suspended, cannot be realised. This applies to the calls for applications for the PROPs projects, as well as the announced call for the next round of Collaboration projects.
ECF will manage the ongoing Collaboration projects and will be engaging with these projects until their successful completion by the end of 2017. We will share information about these projects on ECF’s website.
In the long term, ECF will continue to work with our network and donors in the region to build on our many years of investment and work in the Western Balkans.
Please note that all of ECF’s grant programmes (like STEP Beyond, Tandem, Idea Camp etc.) are open to partners across wider Europe. We hope that you may be able to benefit from these grants in future.
For more information about ECF’s calls, please visit culturalfoundation.eu
