Collaboration Projects in Arts and Culture - COLABs
Collaborative projects, COLABs, are contemporary arts and culture development projects, mainly focused on and implemented in the region of the Balkans by independent cultural organisations.
Through the COLABs grant instrument BAC specifically aims to promote:
COLAB projects are socially relevant, responsible and change-oriented. They influence the context and make a positive change in relation to the addressed problems.
COLAB projects demonstrate strong partnership and collaborative approach, for which they rely on joint activities/co-production and mutual exchange. The projects comprise public activities and aim to reach a broad public.
The COLABs grant scheme may differ through years (regarding period of announcements, projects’ duration, geographic focus, grant amounts etc.).
Through the COLABs grant instrument BAC specifically aims to promote:
- Broadened accessibility and participation of/to qualitative, innovative, engaging culture programmes
- Increased collaboration and long term partnerships between independent cultural organisations in the region
- Increased cross-sectoral collaboration
- Increased capacities of independent cultural actors
